How do foldable screens work?
Most screens are made from multiple layers of glass on top of an LCD layer and so with enough tensile pressure, your screen’s going to crack.
However, foldable screens are possible because they use OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screens.
OLED are made of organic materials that emit light when electricity is passed through them.
They don’t require backlight to function and therefore can be made thin enough to the point of being flexible.

The Martian
For those of you who don’t know… I LOVE SPACE MOVIES. This shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as how I wanted to be an astronaut since I was 6…
… That’s me. 👆
Anyways, I’ve probably watched The Martian at least 20 times ;last week I finally read the book. Here are some lessons I took away:
Read the book first before watching the movie.
Failure to launch is a common problem. Perfect is the enemy of good.
Constraints are the ultimate inspiration for innovation.
Be optimistic you can solve the problem. Do not be optimistic there is not a problem.
How many times in business and in life do we keep pushing release dates because we want to make it perfect?
Don’t waste time on perfecting something for launch. Launch and see the data, then optimize for success.
I’ve been a perfectionist for as long as I can remember. This year I’m endeavouring to break that habit. I’m on Day 14 for my 100DaysofNoCode challenge - where I need to build something with no-code and ship it every single day.
Got any other tips of breaking the perfectionist cycle? Hit me up.
